Anger

You swear you have no energy left inside,
You vow to try to let go of your pride,
But you don't consider how you allow this anger to consume,
Every inch of your soul and leave no room,
For love, friendship or even a happy day,
And in the end all you say is "I'm trying to be okay"
But then why at the slightest downfall,
Do you have to make me feel so small?
You say you've been trying to find,
A part of you that doesn't feel so cold,
A part that doesn't have just anger to hold,
You say its not your fault,
You blame this hatred you can't seem to bring to a halt,
