Reading The Eyes In The Mind

If you look at a person from afar, you can read their mind in their eyes. You can catch a glimpse of what emotions they are exhibiting if you focus on the way the curves of their lips slant or how their eyebrows may arch or slope. You can figure out what emotions a person portrays by looking at their facial expressions but if you know nothing of the person then for the life of you, you may not be able to figure out what causes the emotions they feel.

What if you see a girl curled up in a corner, her face flushed and the light from her eyes drained? You could tell she's hurt or upset but if you know nothing of this girl, how can you figure out what sorrows cause her withering soul to ache?

You can read the title of the book but it can only give away so much. You can ask other people who have read the book what its about but you will not be able to find out the raw intensity of the book unless you read it yourself.

You can judge a person by the way they look and base your perceptions on that but if you don't know what causes them to be what they are, you can not say you know about them. You know of them but not about.

Its not enough to identify pain. If you want to help someone through it, you have to be willingly to know the reason behind the pain.
