Good...But not good enough

Good...But not good enough

Have you ever put your all in to an endeavor and wondered if all your hard work will be enough?

Have you ever doubted your capabilities and wondered if you have what it takes to accomplish the task at hand?

Have you ever tried your best and wondered if your good is good enough.

A year ago someone must have invented a phone that was by far the most advanced model of its time and its inventor must have thought "Hey, this is pretty good." but chances are, the inventor did not stop at pretty good. No, the inventor probably went on to invent a model that exceeded the qualities of that which came before it. Can you imagine what kind of world we would live in right now if people just stopped at good or good enough?

The truth is, nothing can ever be good enough.

There are going to be times when you put in countless amount of hours training for a competition or studying for your exams. There are going to be occasions when you give your all into preparing for something and sometimes, you may fall short. You might think that you have attempted it to the best of your capabilities and if your good isn't good enough then it never will be. You might end up questioning yourself and the limitations that you believe are imposed on you. You might think you can never be better than you already are so, you might begin to give up.

When the first phone was invented, it was probably thought to be good enough to meet the requirements of the time but if the inventors had just stopped at good enough, we would not have better or great. The tricky thing to remember is that we may have limitations but we have the ability to grow, to learn and to exceed past the limitations set upon us. We can always learn to be better than we already are and if at first we do not succeed, then we must try, try, try again.

Your good may only be good enough for a short period of time and you have to keep working hard to be better than you already are. Likewise, your good may not be good enough but that does not mean it never will be.

You must remember to never give up and keep fighting for what you want. You may lose a few battles but that does not mean the war will not be won.
