The Weird Ones

You've seen them around, we all have. You may not consider yourself weird but you probably have come across someone you think of as the 'Weird One'.

The Weird Ones can be found in all aspects and fields. A Weird One could be sitting next to you as you read this, you may be thinking of A Weird One or you, yourself might consider yourself as a Weird One.

There are a lot of Weird Ones, let me highlight some for you.

1. She's always sitting alone as her wild locks encompass the physique of her face. You are not quiet sure what she looks like because you've always seen her with her head down, hiding from the world. She's usually seen sitting alone staring off into space or scribbling in a notebook and hence, she's been labeled the Weird, Sad Girl. You have established that they wouldn't like being friends with her so they don't even consider getting to know her. You have never cared enough to examine her closely so you haven't seen the tear smudges on her notebook or the binding scars engraved on her wrists. People don't see her pain, just the sadness.

2. The Weird Guy who is always busy. He's in every event, every host team, managing, hosting, planning. The guy who is always on his phone, being bombarded with phone calls. You think he's the most popular guy around because people know him, want to walk around with him but the truth is, people just want things from him, they want to be part of his events and want connections. This guy who is always getting business calls doesn't get personal calls. He's lonely, he cries alone and he's breaking apart but people don't see that. They don't know the pain he hides, they only see his smile as he keeps himself busy with huge tasks that leave him exhausted at the end of the day.

3. The Insane Chick. She's always laughing, jumping off tables, laughing prominently, never alone and acting childish. People see her and think something is wrong with her, she doesn't do things according to the norms of society. She's the weirdest of them all and people decide they don't like her one bit. Sometimes they stare and judge, watching as her smile never wavers so they make up more labels for her. They never realize how she needs to smile every day so she doesn't think of the pain that circles around her heart like a steel chain, suffocating her very being.

4. The unapproachable weirdo. People think he is chalk full of attitude and thinks himself to be superior but few ever get close enough to him to realize all the insecurity he harbors inside of him.

5. The lame joker. She tells weird jokes, tries too hard to make other people laugh and people think she's lame, few realize how desperately she yearns for some attention.

The list could go on and on. There are The Weird Ones all around us but let me to tell you a secret.

The Weird Ones are the most beautiful creatures you will ever come across. The only thing to be done with them is to go say Hello. You might not get a good response but that shouldn't bother you because they will regret their behavior with you and make sure to not repeat their mistake the next time someone says hello.

The Weird Ones can make your life beautiful. So before putting them down, know that by hurting them, you're attempting to extinguish the light of their beauty. So, do not label them, talk about them or pass weird glares. The Weird Ones make life beautiful and by hurting them, you'd only welcome ugliness into your life.

The Weird Ones are the definition of beauty beyond pain.
