Lists and expectations

We make plans. We make lists and lists of places we want to go and things we want to do. We stack up expectations by the dozen and somewhere along the line, we decide how we want our dreams to play out in front of us. We spend so long consumed by the desire to achieve something, anything that we forget logic and reality. We forget you can not manipulate human minds and you can not create a script inside your head and hope for it to play out in front of you. Though, we still make all these assumptions and even if we know it might blow up in our faces, we make those lists and keep all those expectations. We allow ourselves to get caught up in the idea of living the dream and often, we forget about the dream itself. The more you act like your goal is just an inch away, you forget how you need to work day and night to make it come true.
We all make our lists and we all dream up scenes to reenact but unless we are willing to look at the lists and have just one item we want more than anything else and if we can look up and smile wondering how we're going to achieve it rather than fantasizing about what we will do when we achieve it, well that's where our list isn't just scribbling on a page. No, that's when we take control of the script for dreams and little by little, make the world a stage.
We can't write the scripts but we can act them out how we want rather than be robots reciting lines.
All it starts with is the decision to stop wondering what you'll do when it comes true and start figuring out how you will make it come true.

This rant comes with a bonus story.
I wasnt sure if I should post this or not and then my friend so beautifully convinced me into doing so as you can see below
