Do you ever feel as if your life is an empty abyss,
Where your soul is constantly met with the devils kiss,
Lying awake as the moments pass,
While of your misery an idea no one has?

Do you ever feel broken and chained to a confine,
Hammering away in search of jewels in an empty mine,
Needing an escape,
While your soul loses shape?

Can you feel someone else decide what journey you must take,
Without considering how that will cause your heart to ache?

Oh how it feels to be alone in a world so vast,
Where nothing really seems to last?

Do you ever feel this way?
Because I need to know if these feelings will stay.
