Drowning

Drowning
Sinking
Suffocating
Drowning
Suffocating
Sinking
Drowning

When you find yourself slipping, sometimes all you can do is claw at the very hands that try to help you. So when you are finally kicking and screaming, gasping for breathe, you realize no one is going to come save you.

But oh what a tragedy,
To push away the hand the holds the remedy,
To cure your emptiness,
And guide you out of the the tortuous abyss,
Oh how terrible an existence,
To greet any help with resistance,
Say honey, with all that anger what will you do?
After how much pain will you finally get a clue?
Don't you realize what this loneliness will mean?
When on someone else's shoulder you can't lean.
Oh honey, when will you finally learn?
How long will you let your eyes burn?
You can't keep going on this way,
You need someone to wipe your eyes,
So why not open your mouth and say;
"I've had enough goodbyes, I need you to stay."
